What Happened?

The ASFALT Chase Off Ghent delivered two electrifying days of World Chase Tag action. On Saturday, Belgian teams competed in a fiercely contested qualifier, with Trauma Tracers emerging victorious and securing their spot in Sunday’s international round robin.

Sunday featured five world-class teams facing off in an intense round-robin format. UGEN clinched the championship, showcasing tactical brilliance and outstanding teamwork. Notably, KIMEO remained undefeated across their games but finished second due to three of their matches going into sudden death, leaving them behind UGEN on points.

One of the highlights was Roland Hannigan from Dexterity Depot, who managed the first-ever evasion against Orlando Devaux, breaking his 100% tag rate streak. Additionally, Mohamed Ayari, formerly of Parkour59, made a strong debut with UGEN, helping them secure victory.

Belgian standout Jesse Redegeld shined for Trauma Tracers, earning the team a respectable showing against seasoned international competitors. The event was part of the vibrant ASFALT Festival in Ghent, bringing an energetic crowd and a festival atmosphere to the competition.
