Opening and running a World Chase Tag® gym is a unique journey that brings both an exhilarating experience and a strong support system to help you succeed. From the first call, where we assess your vision and determine the alignment between your business goals and the WCT mission, our regional managers are there to guide you every step of the way. They’ll ensure you have a solid business model in place, tailored to sustain a WCT venue, and work with you to develop a roadmap for launching a thriving facility. The process is collaborative, with our team offering insights from years of experience to get you started on the right foot.

As the Quad™ takes its place in your gym, the excitement from the local community is almost tangible. People of all ages, drawn by the thrill of competitive tag, come together to participate in this inclusive, high-energy sport that reconnects them with the joy of the oldest game we all played as kids: tag. Watching your community grow as new teams form, develop skills, and gain experience is incredibly rewarding. From a business perspective, we provide you with the resources and partnerships needed to promote and sustain a successful WCT gym. Beyond the initial setup, you’ll have access to tools for communication, logistics, classes, and events—plus revenue-generating opportunities through partnerships with brands like E-Vadr™ and Squared™. With promotional support and invites to WCT events, your gym can grow as a hub for the World Chase Tag® community, attracting new members and maximizing engagement. The success we’ve had so far is all down to the fact that Chasing is such a natural thing for people to do. Pretty much every person we speak to around the world played Chase Tag® when they were young so I think its just something that everyone can relate to. Open your Chase Tag® club and start providing courses and creating events.
The License allows you to legally use the World Chase Tag® or Chase Tag® trademarks, and offer WCT training at one physical location. We’ll help you market your gym by placing it on our Gym Finder Map and communication on all social medias. As a licensee, you also get priority access to competition tickets, entry into the license holder lounge at the competitions, and prioritised support from our Legal Team. Your venue will also be considered for features on our social media pages if you send us photos.
World Chase Tag® Training Certificate
We require an applicant to be at least a Level 1 Certificate holder before applying for affiliation. We offer Level 1 Certificate Courses Online throughout the year. The level of certification you should go for depends on whether you’ll operate on an official Quad™ or not. Venues that will not have a Quad™ work under a Standard License Agreement (SLA) and only need the Level 1 certification for their coaches. Venues that have (or will have a Quad™) require an Official License Agreement (OLA) and a WCT Level 2 Certification.
Cost
As of Jan 1, 2023, affiliation costs US $1,200 annually for the Official License Agreement (OLA) and US $ 120 for the Standard License Agreement (SLA).
